Be sure to "like" our South Jersey Quilts of Valor Chapter's
County Veterans Museum at Estell Manor
Visitors to the
museum saw a display of 660 American flags on the property’s front lawn
mid-October through Veterans Day.
The display was provided by “Flags for
Forgotten Soldiers” to promote greater awareness
of the alarming number
of suicides among our veterans.
There are currently an average of 22
veteran suicides a day in the U.S.,
or 660 per month.

Welcome to South Jersey Quilts Of Valor’s newest
member – 16 year old Zachary Cadwell, center, from
Gilbertsville, PA! He attended a recent SJQOV sewing workshop, held at the
Seaville Fire Social Hall, Friday, Aug. 3rd, and completed his first Quilt
Of Valor quilt top. He has been sewing pillowcases for several years with
Ryan’s Case For Smiles (for kids in hospitals) under the direction of his
great Aunt, Sharon Cadwell left, who is the South Jersey
coordinator for Ryan’s Case For Smiles. He received quilt instructions from
SJQOV member, Jane Pszczolkowski, right, in putting
together the squares for his first quilt, pictured here. Sharon and Jane are
also members of South Shore Stitchers Quilt Guild.
